Education is the Foundation of the Future

Have you ever asked yourself, “How can Progressives like President Obama hate America? How can anyone who was raised in the most free and prosperous society in the History of the world believe America is an imperialistic power and the source of evil?” If we can’t understand our adversary we may defeat them, but we will never know what it is that motivated them. This lack of understanding leaves us open to assault by the same forces in the future. If we wish not only to defeat Barack Obama and the forces of Progressivism in the November elections but also to set America on the path to restoration we must understand the root cause of the Progressive delusion and modern Liberalism which Michael Savage has correctly labeled a mental illness, and I consider a Socially Transmitted Disease. If you want to understand something it is necessary to learn where it came from and how it came to be. Even if President Obama was educated partially in his adopted country of Indonesia he is a prime example of the assembly-line progressive education that has become the norm in America today: bash America at every chance and cram the idea of a living constitution and the necessity for government intervention in every aspect of daily life. We’ve all heard horror stories of the anti-American bilge being pumped into our youth in today’s schools, so the following personal experiences shouldn’t shock anyone too much. As an educator I participated in a program that combined college and high school classes so that students could earn credit towards their high school diploma and at the same time work on an Associate Degree. I was happy to work in this program, and I helped many hard working students earn their Associates at the same time they earned their high school diploma giving them a decided advantage when they went on for their Bachelor degree.

During the course of my years in the trenches of blended education I was in control of the college side of the class; however, I had no authority to stop the blatant dissemination of Progressive propaganda that made up the totality of some teachers’ curriculum. While in the classroom I strive to present material in such a way as to lead students in the direction of critical thinking. I would present both sides and urge students to evaluate and come to their own conclusions. Many times after a semester of teaching Political Science students would come up and ask, “Now that the class is over tell us, which are you a conservative or a liberal?” Many of my high school teacher colleagues were not so subtle. Here are two examples that were more the rule than the exception in many classes: 1. One Political Science class had the following assignment; watch Fahrenheit 9/11by Michael Moore and then write an essay on how many ways President Bush lied to trick America into an unjust war. 2. In a History class the students were assigned to read Upton Sinclair’s The Jungleand then write an essay on the dehumanizing effects of capitalism. The list of such blatant and crude attempts to mold our children into good little Progressives that I witnessed would fill a book on how not to teach, but this is nothing new. I am sixty three years old and though not as out-in-the-open or in-your-face I was subjected to the same type of illiberal liberalism when I was a youngster in school. In grade school I did encounter one History teacher who had been in the profession since before my father was born. She still thought it a good thing to teach American History as an objective subject instead of a vehicle for her own agenda.

She inspired students to look at the evidence and think. She however was the exception. From Math to English, from Geography to History teachers were constantly extolling the benefits of government social programs and depicting America as a world-class bully marching around imposing its will on poor little nations that couldn’t protect themselves. In high school I was suspended for accusing a Social Studies teacher of being a communist. Years later he admitted that he in fact had been a communist since the forties. Another teacher rejected any History paper that he felt was too patriotic which he dismissed as jingoism. A teacher of Russian spent more time in class extolling the virtues of the USSR than teaching the language. When I complained about this forty five minute daily propaganda session I was again suspended. All of this took place back in the 1960s. This isn’t a new problem. The Progressives realized long ago that if they could take over the nation’s education system they could raise up generations of Americans with no conception of the uniqueness of America as the world’s bastion of freedom and liberty.Today we see the fruit of this campaign: legions of voters ready to throw away our heritage for a government check. The descendants of the Founders are willing to surrender their freedom to strive for the best in exchange for the security of just enough to get by. So as the wisest woman I have ever known, my wife asks me, “What can we do now?” Back in the early 90s we decided that what we needed to do was go to school so that we could become teachers. Neither of us wants to impose our ideas on others, but we do want to present the materials in an objective manner and help our students acquire the critical thinking skills necessary to be informed citizens. Whenever a student asks me to figure out what their grade is during a semester I tell them, “If you give a man a fish he will eat for a day. If you teach him to fish he can eat forever.” I then proceed to teach them how to find an average and how to translate that into a letter grade. What can we do now? We can’t all become teachers but we can all become involved in our local school boards. We can all do our due diligence and find out what is being taught at our local schools, and we can follow the procedures to correct what is wrong and implement what is right. One thing is for sure if we do not regain control of our schools we will lose the future. Our leaders are leading us down the primrose path to collectivism. Our education establishment is conditioning America to accept it. Step-by-step, inch-by-inch we have strayed from a federal republic operating on democratic principles with liberty and justice for all to a centralized bureaucracy dispensing cradle-to-grave loot taken from producers and redistributed to non-producers. We may have gotten here step-by-step but we are not too many steps away from one step too many. Barack Obama has stated that his goal is to fundamentally transform America. From stimulus slush finds, shadow governments, and imperial edicts he is systematically remaking us into a centralized state based on social democracy and wealth redistribution. In 1962 the leader of the socialist slave camp we knew as the USSR, Nikita Khrushchev, said “The United States will eventually fly the Communist red flag…The American people will raise it themselves. We can’t expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism.” Education has led the way to this precipice and only education can lead our way back. If we don’t learn from our mistakes and once again begin building up America through education we may learn that Khrushchev was right. Did we win the Cold War defeating an enemy dedicated to our destruction to end up proving the wisdom of a cartoon character, “We have met the enemy and he is us”?

free education for Muslims Chandrababu Naidu promises

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has set his eyes on dominant caste groups in the state and is leaving no chance to appease and mingle with them. After declaration of the BC action plan and taking a pro-SC classification stance, Naidu promised to come out with a Muslim minority declaration shortly. Making a political speech at an iftar hosted by the party here on Tuesday, Naidu vowed not to return to NDA anytime in the future. “We have always been working for the overall development of Muslims in the state. We will come out with a comprehensive plan within the next four months,” he promised.

He said that education for Muslim minority children would be extended free of cost if TDP returned to power in the next elections. Taking a dig at communal parties, Naidu alleged that some leaders are trying to poison the secular fabric of the country and such leaders should be barred from the public life. Naidu, who arrived here around evening, reached Seshasai kalyana mandapam where the iftar was held and spent nearly two hours with the Muslim leaders and elders. This is first time that Naidu has attended an iftar outside Hyderabad during his long political career.

Education Loan Latest News 2012 New

Finance Minister P Chidambaram on Saturday said an education loan is a right of every student and the officials with the public sector banks (PSBs) who are found rejecting a large number of applications may be penalised for denying the loans. “Bank account is a right of an individual. It is not a gift of a bank and bank loan is a right of every student,” Chidambaram told reporters here after meeting with the chiefs of public sector banks (PSBs) adding that the issue of education loans is close to his heart. “No application from a deserving candidate, if he/she meets the parameters, should be turned down by the (bank) officer receiving it. If a loan is not given, the decision can be taken only at one level higher to the officer receiving the loan application,” Chidambaram said.
Education loan is a right of every student
This was the first meeting between Chidambaram and the chiefs of PSBs since he took over charge of the finance ministry August 1. The agenda of meeting contained four issues relating to education loans including expansion, time-bound disposal of applications, education loans for meritorious students admitted under management quota and loans for professional diploma courses. According to Chidambaram, under the new policy if an increase in education loan rejections is detected then there can be punitive actions against the branch manager. “One case of application rejection or two cases may be an oversight issue, but if the branch reaches a critical number like five or ten cases of rejection then there can be action against the manager,” said Chidambaram. “It is very important that every students who meets the parameter must get a loan because it’s a right.” The PSBs are working up on the modalities surrounding the Budget announcement of a credit guarantee fund for education loans. They are also working on a mechanism for rating of institutions, courses and students for loan disbursement.

Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia 2012 latest new courses 2013

Delhi University
edujobnews.wordpress.com
Jamia Millia Islamia plan to launch a hybrid course Delhi University (DU) in collaboration withJamia Millia Islamia has created an innovative course — MA in mathematics and mass communication — under the concept of Meta University. Initially, there will be 20 seats for the course. The course will be conducted under the Cluster Innovation Centre (DU) and AJK Mass Communication Research Centre (Jamia Millia Islamia). While DU has designed the math curriculum, the mass communication curriculum is being taken care of by Jamia. According to SM Sajid, registrar, Jamia Millia Islamia, the MA degree in mathematics and mass communication is an exciting proposition as two universities come together to share their intellectual resources, faculty, facilities, etc. This will open up the face of higher education in the country. “The curriculum has to be approved by the board of department of teachers and the academic council, which will be done by the first week of September.” Faculty from CIC, Central Institute of Education (DU) and Jamia will teach the course. The four-semester course will cover areas like core mathematics, pedagogy of mathematics, computational skills, etc. Each semester will have four papers and one project has to be carried out by students. Dinesh Singh, vice-chancellor, DU, says, “The course will offer students opportunities in teaching and research. In order to be a good mathematics teacher, one has to be a good communicator. A math teacher must be able to explain the subject through different mediums of technology — computer , television, radio, etc. Also, they must be able to promote the subject and excite students.” “We are not making a new curriculum. Both the universities will merge the existing curricula to start a new application,” he adds. Each college has its own strength and through the innovative approach we will give students the best. MM Chaturvedi, director, Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC), DU says, “The programme is designed in a way that lays stress on the application of mathematics and aims to change the way mathematics has been traditionally taught.

The course will be innovative and will be based on application of mathematical concepts rather than teaching and learning mathematics in the traditional way.” “We are thinking of having virtual classrooms so that students from both universities can benefit through technology. Sixty per cent of the coursework will involve project work,” says Chaturvedi. The mass communication papers have been chosen in collaboration with DU to make the curriculum more relevant. Admission will be through a jointly designed entrance test. “We have got clearance from the University Grants Commission (UGC) about the joint degree. We had to wait for the approval in order to be sure of the legality of the joint degree to be awarded to students,” says Sajid. Out of the 20 seats, both universities will select 10 students each. The classes will be conducted in both the universities. The course is expected to begin in September. Students who have a background in mathematics or who have cleared two maths papers of 100 marks or students who have had one subject as maths in their graduation can apply. The fee for the course is Rs 5,000. SHARE THIS:Tweet

University of kota -LLB (Sem 1) Result 2012 new latest

LLB (Sem 1) Result

There are two schools of thought about the concept of education. According to one school of thought, education is a merit good; while according to another school of thought, education is a non-merit good. Whatever concept of education we accept as right, but one thing is universally accepted that education is a most powerful tool of social transformation and a grand panacea for all evils of modern age. If we want to change the socio-economic milieu and develop scientific temperament and learning aptitude in young people in the present fastly changing tech-savy age, the professional education is not only vital, but has great relevance for value addition and value based system. Value addition is required for wealth maximization and valued based system is needed for ethical code of conduct. These twin objective can simultaneously be achieved by the professional quality education. It is not only a good source of better livelihood, but also helps in career planning, which is the need of an hour. University of Kota is offering several professional courses to the students in building their bright career and shaping personality by harnessing their 'latent talent'. Our emphasis is to extend the scope and increase opportunities for higher education and research in every branch of human knowledge and also to ensure quality all along so that learners may 'learn faultlessly'. Our endeavor is also to provide an environment to the students where they can blossom into good citizens.

We are also committed not only to create an atmosphere of brain storming for idea generation, but also for instilling pride, human dignity and maintaining an ambieance of mutual respect, culture of tolerance while emphasizing scholastic achievements. At the end, I welcome all new aspirants for admission to various professional courses which are being run by different colleges affiliated to this university and wish them very best and bright professional career ahead. I also hope that all of them will be using their full potential for the benefit of self and society both and transform themselves into an energetic, confident and independent professionals ready to face any kind of challenge of present complex and ever changing global environment.
